Privacy policy

The EU General Data Protection Regulation comes into force on 25 May 2018. The Regulation will have a major effect on every entity participating directly or indirectly in the processing of personal data of users/consumers in the EU. Within the Trans-Tok Logistic Group we adhere to the GDPR with regard to the business we run and  the technology we use. We are aware of the necessity and obligation to keep our partners’ and clients’ data private, which is why we have designated a Personal Data Protection Inspector at our company and introduced the appropriate clauses to our privacy policy.

I. DATA PROTECTION AND PROCESSING

1 As the owner of the site, Trans-Tok is also the administrator of data coming from people visiting the site (Guests).

2 The personal data of visitors, as well as the data concerning all contacts and operations is used only within the Owner’s company, including in the form of data bases (collections), for the purposes of serving partners. Only authorised employees of the Owner have access to this data. They are obliged to keep this information secret, and prevent third parties from having access to it.

3 The Owner may process the following personal data of a client which is necessary to initiate, shape, alter or dissolve legal relations between them:
1) visitor’s full name
2) visitor’s telephone number
3) visitor’s email address

II. PRIVACY PROTECTION

1 The Owner or any other person acting on his behalf and with his authorisation may only process the data of a Guest (visitor to the site) when:

1) the person – Guest whom the data concerns consents to this, unless it involves removal of the data concerning him
2) it is necessary for executing an authorisation or fulfilling a duty arising from legislation,
3) it is necessary to realise a contract if the person – Guest whom the data concerns is a party thereto or it is necessary to take actions before the signing of a contract at the request of the person whom the data concerns.

2 The personal data of visitors who use the contact form are gathered solely for the requirements of the appropriate service for customers, in accordance with the law, the present Privacy Policy and contracts. Providing data to third parties constitutes an exception and only happens with the prior consent of the interested parties or if it is required by applicable legislation.

3 The Owner uses cookies in order to gather the permitted information about visitors. This enables the Guest to be identified by saving short textual information on his computer. This consequently allows his online activities and interests to be identified. The visitor decides voluntarily to use such a device, or refuses consent by marking the appropriate option visible on entering the trans-tok.com.pl website.
